What does a home visit look like?

Expect our visits to last 45-60 minutes. It is YOUR time so you decide who you want to include at our sessions. I often bring handouts or share articles and video clips and give homework. I do not dress up, am happy to sit on your floor, and do not want you to clean your house before I come. (yes, I am serious).

How are safety concerns addressed during COVID ?

I am fully vaccinated! I am still more than happy to mask and socially distance at your home or provide you with a video/tele health option. When weather permits I really love doing outside visits in your backyard, at a park, or just going on a walk together. I often bring books or activities to do with young children, all such items are sanitized before bringing them into your home.

I promise to cancel if I feel remotely under the weather or if I am running a fever. Please do the same. You will NEVER be charged for canceling (even at the last minute) due to illness. Remember, we can always switch to a tele/video session. Please know that I carefully sanitize myself in between each session. 

Do you take my insurance?

I accept KanCare at this time. I am working towards adding some commercial plans in the future. My cash pay rate is $75 per session. You will be billed and not expected to pay during our visits. 

How do I get started?

Simply reach out via email, text or phone. I have a totally paperless system so once we get you set up you will receive an online enrollment with all intake forms, privacy policies, releases, etc.  This online enrollment MUST be complete before our first session since it includes necessary signatures and your insurance/payment information.

What is the cancellation policy?

Please give 24 hour notice when cancelling a visits. You will be charged for visits cancelled less than 24 hours before your appointment UNLESS you have an emergency or any time you or anyone in your home is ill. There will never be a charged for these types of cancellations.

Do you offer telehealth services?

Yes! At this time most insurance is paying for services delivered through a secure tele/video format. If you have traveled, feel ill, or are simply not comfortable meeting in person we can easily arrange telehealth.
